Cardio Care Extreme:
Is A Powerful Dietary Supplement Geared Toward Health Concerns For People With Diabetes And Cardiovascular Disease. One of Cardio Care Extreme's powerful ingredients is a semi-essential amino acid called L-Arginine. L-Arginine has been proven to cause a buildup of nitric oxide (NO) in the arteries. Nitric Oxide has been proven to be a vaso-dialator with significate health benefits for the cardiovascular system.
"Nitric Oxide (NO) is your body's strongest self-defence against heart attack and stroke. NO can prevent hardening of the arteries and even reverse it. This process may take some time and is one of the long-term benefits of NO". Source---"The Cardiovascular Cure" By Dr. John P. Cooke, M.D., PH.D.
L-Arginine (as Di-Arginine Malate): a double bonded amino acid (arginine) molecularly bound to malic acid. Malic acid may be a superior substrate to bond arginine to as it has numerous clinical studies supporting its use in athletic performance. Malic acid was originally extracted from apples, is very tart in taste, and is used in a variety of the very sour types of candy. L-Arginine has been shown in clinical studies to help your body produce Nitric Oxide (NO) . On October 12th, 1998, three Americans--Furchgott, Ignarro, and Murad were awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine for their research and discoveries relating to Nitric Oxide and it's health benefits.
L-Citrulline: Nitric Oxide production is really the story of two amino acids, L-citrulline and L-arginine. These two key nutrients work together as the fuel that produces Nitric Oxide in the blood vessels. L-arginine is the sole precursor of Nitric Oxide, making its presence in the system a necessity. However, L-arginine does not maximize Nitric Oxide production alone. Instead, it works in conjunction (synergistically) with its sister amino acid L-citrulline. The conversion process from L-arginine to Nitric Oxide yields L-citrulline as a by-product. The L-citrulline by-product is in turn converted back into L-arginine, which can then produce more Nitric Oxide. This "turbo-charging" process is known as the L-arginine/L-citrulline Recycling Pathway and can be accelerated by providing additional L-citrulline to the body to keep the cycle going.
Grape Seed Extracts: Grape seed extracts are part of a group of Bioflavanols, commonly known as proanthocyanidins or OPC's for short. Many believe these are one of the greatest Natural Health discoveries in history. OPC is 50 times more potent than vitamin E and 20 times more potent than vitamin C as a scavenger of free radicals. What this means to you is that OPC's help protect the cells and get rid of the free radicals which can cause damage to your body. OPC is great for the circulatory system, to reduce edema and arrest varicose veins. It has been used in Europe for these disorders for decades as well as diabetic retinopathy. It has been shown to strengthen capillaries, arteries and veins, and even to prevent bruising. OPC's effects can normally be seen in a short period of time. A test of 47 people was performed by Professor Henri Choussat of the University of Bordeaux in France. These people were between 37 and 85 years old. They were given one 100-milligram OPC supplement. In 72 hours the test revealed that they had increased capillary resistance by 140%.
